Awww! No more daily games? Booo! *grins*
Well, here is the spill...

Day 23 – Most annoying character
Janice from Friends. I know was intentionally annoying but I mean, oh my God! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfBh8rthdL0

Day 24 – Best quote (Triple Tie)
1) The quote with personal meaning: "Maybe some women aren't meant to be tamed. Maybe they need to run free until they find someone, just as wild, to run with". Carrie Bradshaw @ Sex and the City http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyuCwCN78lA&feature=youtu.be

2) The one that makes me laugh every time: "Naked. [...] You can program any man's libido by carefully using the word naked. Just slip it softly into the conversation every now and then. It's a scientific fact that if you say the word naked three or more times to any man he has to cross his legs". Sally Harper @ Coupling http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52771yKS3As

3.) The geekiest one: (It's a bit of dialog but it's worth every penny)

"[Roy & Moss standing right beside a malfunctioning bomb disposal robot]

Bomb Squad Specialist: I am just having a couple of problems with it

Moss [to the specialist]: What kind of operating system do they use?

Bomb Squad Specialist: It's... ah.. Vista!

Moss [at Roy]: We are going to die!" The IT Crowd
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtCe-Szsj0c

Day 25 – A show you plan on watching (old or new)
HOUSE. I never watched it and I think it was a HUGE mistake. Soon to be fixed!

Day 26 – OMG WTF? Season finale
Coupling last show (Season 4, Ep. 6 "Nine and a Half Months"). Here is the description from Wikipedia "Jeff returns in female form to comfort Steve as he awaits for Susan to give birth. After discovering Patrick actually did sleep with Jane, Sally looks through his cupboard to find something else...an engagement ring. Oliver and Jane try their best to have sex but are constantly interrupted. Steve and Susan have a baby boy". Exactly.

Day 27 – Best pilot episode
The IT Crowd. I missed the pilot episode of every single series I eventually followed except this one and it is just a brilliant show (Got a bit weak on this last season but I still like it). Not to mention, as somebody surrounded by IT/engineers/programmers/coding ninja monkeys/etc I totally understand.

Day 28 – First TV show obsession
Candy. I was a kid. I <3 this show so much!

Day 29 – Current TV show obsession
True Blood. I have a desktop image with Eric as Mr. January, that said, I worked the pic to actually delete the calendar and just leave Eric, and a white background. Alone. Enough said. http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/zz320/EricsFairy/alexanderfangtasiacalendar.jpg

Day 30 – Saddest character death
Doctor Who, all 10 of them. Especially the last one...
"I don't wanna go..."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnUDjT1B4EA I have NOT seen the last episode for this Doctor. I don't want to see it yet...

With ups and downs, I would say that I tend to like the season finales for 24. Jack Bauer became an improbable post 9/11 hero and will be missed. 10 years ago 24 featured an African American President that we thought was pretty much not feasible, and closed with a female one.

Hopefully, there are no real Jack Bauer's around (I REALLY hope not) but I think that 24 will be missed. Unfortunately, it's time to "shut it down".

Just 2 things:

1.) On my next job I want that flexibility; which means, I won't have it :P

2.) Do not laugh but, if I am not mistaken, I have NEVER eaten at Arby's. EVER.

Oh dear God...

I have a fixation with the Aidan and Carrie thing so there. I am not sure if it is because, in some way, I married a techy version of Aidan, or if it is because under my standards, this guy is just plain hot. I mean, don't get it wrong he is almost 50 yet, if I was single (or in an open relationship) I will (excuse my blunt honesty) tap that ass in a NY second. Not that can literally tap anything but you know what I mean.

So here, to Aidan and Carrie! (Sappy video with Michael Bolton song included that made me shed a tear. Damnit!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cdiP_lMse8

Oh! Kissing... If it was a sport like swimming I will be like Dara Torres... (Michael Phelps would be ideal but I am female, Hispanic and ain't going to kiss so many people at this point in my life :P).

I have many, many memories of many, many kisses in many, many shows. Obviously I can't limit myself to just one but I will limit to just 2 kisses.

Kiss #1: Carrie and Mr. Big in the "Elevator Scene" in Sex and the City. There are two reasons for this selection: (1) This is the turning point for Carrie where she started cheating on Aidan with Mr. Big (John was married at the moment). I never thought Aidan deserved that but obviously the love (and lust) between Big and Carrie is just unavoidable (and quite dysfunctional, but who am I to judge). (2) The scene itself is hot. Unfortunately the video I found is the TBS version but in the HBO version the argument continues in the elevator where she starts screaming "F*** you, f*** you" and after the kiss she starts saying "f*** me, f*** me". Very well played: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqilaI1pQsM

Kiss #2: Ianto & Capt. Jack in "Children of Earth" special for Torchwood. Kirk can take classes from Capt. Jack, I swear. This trysexual (he tries EVERYTHING once, from Earth or outer space) finally fell in love with Ianto (who you may call bi but his previous gf was really a robot. It's complicated). Yes, they are guys but was actually very sweet and very well developed. I am quite upset that Ianto was killed in this special so instead of showing the last kiss I will show what I think is the first, surely the hottest kiss between them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1n37ht5GNA

I must say that my favorite cast was the original cast for ER. Considering this is the cast that gave us George Clooney as Dr. Ross (which is pretty much McSteamy and McDreamy all in one - for the Grey's Anatomy follower) I can say it was a pretty darned good cast!

As "Twilight" was the trigger for the now vampire-friendly TV (I prefer my vampires less shinny and non-vegetarian thank you very much), I would say ER was the 90's hospital-friendly starter. Anthony Edwards as Dr. Green was also a great character and I still get all watery-eyed watching the episode where the character died. Eriq La Salle and Noah Wyle had a great interaction as resident/intern that is way more realistic of what happens in a training hospital and a very interesting relationship that has nothing to do with romance. Also, lets not forget Julianna Margulies as the nurse that became Clooney's gf and went through the nurse-turned-doctor thing.

I would say that up to season 6 with Dr. Luka Kovac (Goran Višnjić, MY personal favorite equivalent of Dr. McDreamy) I was very into ER and loved every member of the cast. As time went by and histories changed I lost interest, but now and then I went back and watched the show, and I think was still as powerful and well scripted. I think rather than a show that became mediocre, was just a matter of growing apart.

Actually, I've probably got the next couple of things on deck. Unfortunately, I've got a book I've put on hold a few times to work on the current project, and yeah... totally need to finish revisions so I can move forward with that one. Definitely having the problem of too much I want to write and not enough time to write it in.

Now the neat trick, if you can manage it, is to work it out so that the story that's on deck is ready to come up to bat as soon as the one before it is out of your hands (for betaing, editing, submitting, or just sitting in a drawer).

I *think* I've got my next story ready to go, but I guess there's no knowing until the current one flies off to betaland.
